Is the sister the Owl Princess or Lebsa/Rebessa? Because in the fight against Asbel she mentions that Lebsa is her original body (even though it does not resemble the main character) but then says the Owl Princess (who obv looks like the mom) is her original body but without a soul. Is that a translation issue? Is she the Owl Princess or Lebsa? And then who is the other one? If she is the owl princess, why can't she reclaim that body?
I only know of investing 3 points in items price reductions ("sweet talks" perk or whatever) and buying-selling fertiliser, but sadly it ramps relationship with blacksmith out of the roof, effectively locking you out of other romance endings. What other ways are there?
And for 500 in all subjects I guess you need to gradually go through all of them from the very beginning, otherwise, if you focus on only main ones (related to chosen lord) for some time like I did, you won't be able to get others to 500 in time, even with constant fame farming and spending it on guides.
But it's far more optimal in keeping his relation low if you actually use his discountd stuff for 'working' on high yield jobs via action points rather than buy/sell.
And yeah, you need to start working towards the true ending early... but both on NG and NG+ you can kinda start infinite spam during the first blacksmith discount.
Romance hardly matters honestly since you can fit them all in one playthrough aside of 3 house unique ones.
The Gwyn's house needs you to keep ken/gwyn very close before last day.
So you can change whomever is highest.
I recommend 'Royal' house as your massive relation playthrough since it has one unique ending with Ken.
To get all romance aside of 2 other unique house ones in one playthrough:
1) Ensure you are NOT interacting with blacksmith guy at all.
This way you can still grow quite a lot of food with his help. 139 portions of fertilizer to be exact.
2) Be on NG+ and invest fully into stats at least. You need to reach A rank stats for
3) Your only goal is pretty much getting gifts in whichever way you prefer and getting your stats to rank A(maximum requirement for relations of a few characters)
4) Your romance goal is having everyone stop at ~135-139 relation BEFORE last day.
5) Save game manually and just fill relations according to ending requirements.
If you do everything correctly - that's all romances in one play aside of the 2 other houses who are super easy to do as an 'afterthought' while playing other houses.
You can even make your own goal as 'completing' the the royal house goals in this playthrough since it's pretty compatible... also making dates achievement while at it.
Just ensure you plan dates well to not 'overkill' relationship gain.
Isn't the true ending received through rejecting Asbell's offer in final dungeon and beating him and "volcano goddess" one (with highest requirements) taking his offer though? The former only requires MC to clear all parts of exploration, be proficient in fights and have good equipment (easily done as long as you don't neglect exploration and buy endgame gear), while the latter requires a whole bunch of planning, maxing everything, etc. from the very beginning..
And doesn't spending actions on work require high end jobs to work out in MC's favour? 5 fertilizers (instant crops raise) is 560g, 4 wheat crops yield 8 wheat, which is in general 5-6 breads (with double food proc perk). 2 star bath maid job nets 240 + 70-100 (dunno exactly how much, seems random) on tips, in general 400+ gold with double tips. So even if we assume that cooking yields 7 breads (AP required for work) and tips are always doubled, it's still -100+ gold and +5 blacksmith rep per interaction. Also it won't work on the first discount during NG (no talents), not enough talent points and job experience.
UPD: just tried mafia dealer (lv4 job), 280g salary + 180g double tips = 460g. Still quite less than what was spent on fertilizers. At least it's neat darkness farm, combined with trying to steal from everybody (or most of them) you can get 150 darkness (one of "demon queen" ending requirements) in 1 month without complicating current romance.
As for your question about Goddess/True Ending, what happens is:
1) Accept the offer - game continues pretty much same as if you didn't do the mission.
Pretty much consider this being the same as if you 'rejected' the mission or never got access for it to begin with.
Sounds crazy, I know, but that's how it works.
BUT one thing changes - Lebsa can't be accessed for marriage if you even ACCEPT the mission. You have to reject it for the marriage with her.
This disables knight ending as well since Lesba is part of that one.
Basically 'accepting' the offer serves 0 purpose aside of screwing you over from Lebsa romance + knight ending.
2) Reject the offer - this is BOTH true ending and the ONLY way to get the 'goddess' ernding.
At any rate, true ending still only requires MC to be battle-proficient and have endgame gear on. Goddess ending... nigh impossible without bonus talents, especially if doing Gwyneth's tasks (maybe Clyde's too if they require lots of non-optimal gold/energy investments as well).
1) 'Path of monarch' is not 'ending arc'.
There are only 2 real endings to the game itself:
Regular and True. Regular is well.. regular. True is accepting the Lebsa mission and rejecting the offer inside it.
Path of monarch 'ending' choice is just a requirement set, like any other of the 58 endings.
However 7/5 star ones of path of monarch are easy to screw up if you don't know what you can and CAN'T do. And 6 star is Royal House exclusive.
The 7 star one is 'goddess': it requires reaching true ending + 90/2000 all stats + 500 all subject scores and being under 30 darkness.
The 6 star one is only available on ROYAL HOUSE route.
This one does NOT need the true ending route.
Requirements are 70/1500 stats + 500 all subjects, under 30 darkness and 100 relationship with Gwyn.
This is best paired with True ending route and saving game manually before true route/regular route split choice.
The 5 star one is only available IF you 'declined' true route mission(or didn't even get choice for it)
Requirements are 80/50 STAM/MND, 2k/1.5k STR/INT, 700 sword+archery, 5k accum fame and being a lvl 5 Rider(horseman races) + killed at least 100 demons.
This one can also be paired well during all other monarch endings assuming you manage 700 sword/archery - simply keep Gwyn relation on ~90 on your ending split save file.
This allows all 3 monarch routes in one play... on top of a lot of other possible endings.
If you read my previous post fully - you will read that the 'Knight' ending includes Lebsa, so even ACCEPTING the true ending mission already removes your chance for that ending.
Which is what you did - screwed yourself over the ending.
2) Any ending is easily doable if you are fine with romancing blacksmith since you have infinite actions.
Getting max rank of any house is pretty trivial since you can ignore ~7.5% worth of total missions.
Which always means being able to ignore all 'annoying' objectives.
Considering you need to play multiple times anyway and all romances aside of lords are doable in 1 playthrough - there is little reason not to just romance the blacksmith when you plan a massive stat play.
Subject scores are the only 'tricky' requirements, those need you to buy all 'extra courses to be safe and pick them in a way that balances subject scores you need during final course choices in the winter.
Getting max rank with lord still varies.
Lebsa requires you to pretty much just pump STR, go through Natalie courses (sword/archery) and clear all exploration parts. Duel tasks can be ignored, it's a waste of calm, and 100 duels is pretty much forfeiting interactions with characters except talking/gifting. All (or almost all) other tasks are done with just studying, buying equipment and clearing expeditions. So basically just do your thing and see your rank rise.
Gwyn, however, requires going to banquets (visit 1 and ignore, it's just "spend 5 energy to lose social battle and gain nothing"), pumping actress level (done anyway since it's good gold+fame income, provided MC has enough charisma), doing lots of work in bath house, buying 5 outfits, and who knows what in 4th rank tasks. A plenty of extraneous gold/energy investments required early.
Clyde - dunno, haven't tried his house yet. I guess debates, horse catching and racing are included.
Subject scores are indeed the trickiest part of the requirements. Without buying all extra courses (since they net +100 subject on completion) on variety of subjects and constant fame farming for guiding in church it's impossible to achieve without bonus talents. And even with them it's royal pain in the rear end.
UPD: currently doing fresh (no bonus talents) "smart" (buying all extra courses, lvling all subjects, etc) Handel house run, and damn, it's just INSANE. Currently at 2nd year december, and already have 74-74-60/2k+ stats (except 1.9k img), 360 avg on subjects, lvl5 knight, 12k gold, (almost) top equipment... compared to Gwyn run, where it's constant struggle between doing her tasks, running expeditions (lvl+gold+fame) and lvling stats with no breathing room, the amount of freedom Handel house gives (basically just complete expedition every run and you're free to do as you please) combined with how much gold+fame you get while at it is just ridic.
UPD2: just finished this run with "volcano goddess" ending, had 160+/3k+ stats, 600+ all subjects in the end. Kinda crazy how easy it turned out to be with Handel house, more practical build and buying all master classes.
