Any chance for a romance subplot for father?

Like allowing him to find some new love and move on from grief by losing his wife?

The daughter got plenty of romance available so it would be cool if the protagonist/deuteragonist father also got some happiness?

Might it be possible as a future update devs?

Hmmm, IF the wife comes back to life/never was dead to begin with but just deadbeating then maybe the father and her could become amicable exes in that scenario? With a new (better developed/given more characterization) love interest for father.

Absence makes you heart go yonder, as they say. And it hasn't been just a few weeks or months.

If the wife is still alive and new love interests are impossible then how about a route where she comes back very early and its possible to earn love points with her as father to improve their marriage and go all lovey dovey or move away from each other and find someone else?

Mega spoiler on why it can't happen:
You are not even a human, you're just a bird revived as a human by the Volcano Goddess, AKA the mom. The Bird Festival in game is literally celebrating YOUR rebirth and love with The Goddess. The mom is also not dead, she just is busy being goddess and can't really spend time with you, but you two are sometimes still in contact.

But father still there and he is fairly human. No reason not to sweet home Alabama :)

Its not unheard of in these type of rising sim games to have the father/organizer character also get some fun or even own stats.

As an avid reader of Chinese literature, its common to romanticize widowers (and the equivalent) as not wanting to move on afterwards. Staying faithful with strong love even after death is another way of putting it. Since this game is very family orientated it feels unlikely the devs would go for anything unwholesome.

Its just cultural differences, in our culture its more common to desire another parent to help raise the child with maybe a few years grace period in literature.
