Firefighting Simulator: Ignite

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite

4 Questions
I understand you can’t say allot at this time about the game, but I have 4 questions…

As a player of “the Squad”, I had high hopes for it before the release date, however I ended up being disappointed in the game. In the Squad, we had an Engine/Pumper, Quint, Aerial and a Heavy Rescue/Hazmat for the Playable Apparatus.

Three of Top Disappointments were not being able to attach the Supply Line/Hose at the Nearest Hydrant (down the street) and then driving to the Fire Scene. Instead the hydrant was right there at the Fire Scene. Secondly you had to fight fires while on the Heavy Rescue/Hazmat just with Fire Extinguishers without being able to call for help on Large Fires and No Rescues. Thirdly on the Big Fires you were dispatched with other units, if you’re driving the Aerial and the Engine/Pumper is responding with you, yet once at the scene you don’t interact with them or see them.

1. What type of environment will the game be in, Urban, Rural or Both?

2. Will we get any new or different type of Playable Apparatus, than in The Squad?

3. Just Confirming it will be a Single Player Game as well?

4. What is the biggest new feature in “Firefighting Simulator: Ignite” do you think players will like?

1. The game takes place in a fictive US city and its different districts.

2. You will get access to known as well as new officially licensed fire trucks from Rosenbauer America.

3. You can play the game in single-player as well with up 4 players in multiplayer.

4. Compared to The Squad there are a number of new and advanced features and much more variety - e.g. a firestation where you can walk around and train within the training area on its courtyard, the option to switch the nozzle between straight stream and spray mode or to use foam if needed, vertical ventilation, elements that can collapse or explode, gas leaks etc.

Will this be more "open world" so to speak? For example, you can leave the station without going to a call, and receive dispatches to a randomly picked incident? Or is it more like how The Squad was, where you select specific missions, but from the fire station instead of a lobby menu?
While you cannot leave the station without accepting a call, you are free to explore the game world *after* finishing your mission :)
