BUG: died to Swamp Frog as I killed it

This resulted in teleporting back to the save point and skipping the cutscene that happened after the fight.

There are a few of those "died at the same time as i won" bugs.
If it happens again against a late-game foe that should drop a key or any other scenario that makes it impossible to progress, i've explained in a few other topics how to load backups or maybe edit save files to allow progressing again.

Probably not, no. Aside from the dialogue, there wasn't any in-game event that occurred directly after winning the fight. As long as you got the achievement, you won't have missed more than the dialogue.

In my case, thanks(?) to that glitch, "Can't Touch This" achievement was unlocked.
Because I had full HP when boss died
That was weird but happy glitch.
Anyway, I watched the conversation(usual Snoot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) after the boss on Youtube.
