Controller not working at all

Hello, just bought the game and the controller does not work at all.
I tried to set Steam Input on, off, by default, or remap controls but nothing works...

I use an Xbox controller on Windows 11.

I can second this. Just bought the game, no controller support in or out of big picture mode. Using an Xbox Elite2 on Win10.

I found out that Steam input choose "Keyboard (WASD) and mouse" can solve the problem.

Try using the controller in a wired state, that may fix it?

My controller was not non-functioning, but was acting weird (pause button wouldn't work, UI wouldn't detect the correct button graphics, etc...).

Changing it from Bluetooth to wired fixed all of the above for me.
