A while ago, I wrote a list of ideas that I would like to see in future expansions.
*Add more tomes at Tier V and possibly new ones at Tier VI or VII.
*Expansion of the Empire skill tree, there is still a lot of free space.
*Spells that can finally freeze rivers and seas again.
*More terraforming magic.
*Spells cast on the world map, such as sandstorms, fires, miasma contamination, or other permanent regional spells that deal damage to enemy troops when they pass through them.
*Adding a new category of Ancient Wonders (Platinum)
*In addition to the upper world and the underground, you also have the opportunity to switch to the shadow realm, like in shadow magic.
*New building types that can be built outside your own borders. For more strategic depth.
*The return of world events like in Age of Wonders 3
Two points can now be crossed off ^^
One question though: why would I ever bother befriending dwellings? Backstabbing one city state ally, let alone a major faction, just to appease one other quasi-city state - temporarily - doesn't ever seem worth it. On top of them making constant demands. Seems safer and more efficient to just wipe them out. Or are the benefits from dwelling alliances that much bigger than city state ones?
Well.... Technically, you can be evil AND conquer their cities.
By that way, they will work for you.
I don't understand 1 thing. Why people who play Civilization and similar games come and ask to make another Civilization out of AoW? AoW is about combats. Everything done on the strategic map done for upcoming battles. If you like Civilization then play Civilization or one of it's clones but save us from ideas which don't belong here.
Sure thing just kill them take their cattle and women! That's the goal of the game. There're many situations whith choice without any actual choice since one option is obviously better. But nobody cares.
Anything for your money but the game already looks like collecting tonnes of things from AoW 2, 3 and PF.
Thank God, hope to see unique perks/ dwellings.
