diplomancy with frost queen

does it will be possible to use diplomacy with the frost queen and or the demon prince? maybe become their vassal?

Pretty sure the win condition as described in the option menu is to beat them first, so I suspect no?

Mind you, it would be somewhat interesting if you could do a Player vs The World route by taking their side.

i am very interested in a deal with the demon prince maybe a alliance similar to saruman and sauron, saruman was first his enemy but turned into his ally later, this will give the game a big impact and replay ability and after becoming the vassal/ally of the demonprince/frost queen ruler all other leaders declare forever war at you and challenge your master/queen and yourself.

And after reading the frost queen/demonprince scenario there is nothing written down about they start at war with you.

in age of wonders planetfall the voidbringer who invade the world also gives everyone the choice to join them which leads to 2 different endings.
For this all other npc factions and all leaders who fight against them declare forever war at you.

Unless I'm imagining it I could have sworn they said in one of the streams you could also win by making an alliance with them.

That's because they were playing Pretender Kings on that stream, which the goal says you need to either make a alliance or defeat them.

I meant that they specifically mentioned you could ally with Miss Frost Queen or the Demon Prince instead, wasn't referring to the Pretender Kings specifically. But best way to see will be to actually play the scenario out when the game comes out. Here's hoping you can honestly.
