demons?

i am often blind af seeing things but is having a faction of demonic followers possible? or planned? because i LOVE this game but also would enjoy RPing a portal of hell folk bursting forth

There's demon gates as a Special Province Improvment. You'll want to take a lot of Chaos affinity tomes, I forget which one has the demon gates, but it was pretty late, so the affinity reqs are kinda stringent(and it's worse now after the hero rework).

How many demon types do you want?

If anything, more undead variants are needed.

You can paint your culture followers red or something...to act as demologist. Mystic and Dark works well for this.

I saw the AI controlled paladin premade faction using demonkin units (lol) in my last game. There's apparently a racial transformation out there somewhere that you can use with your ascended to have a demonic race with reduced penalties in ashlands.

Chaos t4 has a demon transformation with wings.

Eldritch has a tentacle lower half transformation that gives umbral demon Tag i think.
