No, hyenas are gnolls. Kobolds are tiny draconians without wings.
Thinking of Gnolls my friend. Kobolds are funny small lizard people. A counterpart to Goblins, often at war with goblins.
You can see the pictures in the Expansion Pass page. They also show off the dragon lord we'll be able to play as.. but idk how its going to be balanced lol.
Oh yeah, my bad. Oh I could have mixed the two?
Honestly, I rarely view them among the proposed specie to been added.
But they are not as obscure as, let's say, the races who come out when Frostburn come out (D&D, 3.5):

For someone who have this, somewhat, obscure bonus book, I should had thinked about them.
Most probably.
I remember that they were somewhat between the two (but from where, I don't remember).
I mean when one can set a map option like 'Unlimited Power', and combine it with building both a 'spell jammer' and a 'sanctuary' in your cities. You can just spell spam any attacking armies to death, while they can't do anything but watch their armies slowly die, then cry. Because pillaging takes 2 turns, easily enough time to get at least 1 unit to engage them.
Still, I was wondering why there was no lizard race when the game came out. Now I know.
Maybe one of the "beast" forms in Primal Fury will be Kobold-like. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
