Pantheon and Transformations
If I ascend a leader stacked with racial transformations to use in subsequent games, can I disable some of them? Or is it all or nothing?

Like the Major Transformations, so that I could choose a different one in a follow up game but still cherry pick the minor transformations to keep (like if I don't want spawnkin on him).

Thanks

You always have the option to pick a different racial transformation than the one you have and replace it with the new one. So there's no need to be selective at game start. I think you can even have your leader opt out of the racial transformations you give your race so they can be different than them.

So if I applied the Daemonkin Major Transformation to my leader, I can replace it with a different Major Transformation in a follow up game, without turning them all off before I use a Pantheon Leader in a new scenario?

I am familiar with opting out, I am asking if I can replace spawnkin or my Major race Transformation without turning them all off first.

I don't think the Major Transformations ever carry over to the next game but the minor ones will. You can turn off the visibility of the minor ones in the spell book by clicking on the small eye by each one. This works especially well for spawnkin although it is still active if you decide to use it. I couldn't find any way to turn off the minor ones individually once the new game starts but there might be one I couldn't find.

I know you can turn off the visuals on the spellbook while actually playing the map, but what about on the ruler selection screen before you start a game?
Transformations are tied to Tome selection, not Leaders.

I mean when you ascend your rulers to the pantheon. Before you start a new game, I think you see some grotesque visuals for transformations on the ascended ruler on the ruler section screen. I want to get rid of that.

Edit: For instance, when I go click one of my characters with the minor transformation for the Tome of Glades, he has that stupid green face.

The minor transformations will still be on a saved leader from the start of the new game, just not on the entire race. You have to research the tome and recast the spell to make them active race wide.

The eye in the spell book "Active Spells" pages will turn off the visuals of each one to get rid of the colored skin, etc.

Yeah, I know. I just want to get rid of the transformation visuals on the ruler on the selection screen.

I realize this, too. But I want to be able to turn it off on the selection screen, not once the new game starts.
I was looking for the same thing but couldn't find what you are looking for. Sorry.

I see. Ultimately, it's just the selection screen. So I guess I will have to live with it.

But damn, green face is ugly! ;)

I am not talking about the visibility of the transformations.

I am just talking about my ascended leader.

Every Minor Transformation and Major Ones (but only one of course) can be carried over if you have ascended your leader to the Pantheon. I just wanted to know if you could cherry pick, which ones are carried over.

I made one character stacking all possible minor transformations and daemon kin as my major one. They all carried over. I just wanted to know if I can replace the daemon kin transformation.

I don't think that you can, I only see an all or nothing option in the game setup.

They do carry over. I am just talking about my leader. I am also not talking about the related cosmetics.

No, the transformations only carry over on the pantheon ruler himself. Not his faction.

I know that, that's all I am talking about. Just my leader.

I just wanted to know if I could choose which ones are carried over with my leader.

In the future I will just ascend a leader with all minor transformations stacked and not major transformation. That way in future games I can always choose different major transformations.

The leader itself will carry over into the Pantheon with whichever visuals were active at the time. Some Major transformation cannot be toggled (the visibility) so if you are for example a Naga, then that won't be able to toggle.

If you want to change how your leader looks at the selection screen (or in general) I'd recommend to load up a quick game, that is easy for you to win. Toggle the visuals on/off until you got an overlap of visuals you enjoy and ascend the ruler again. This way the new visual toggle with save and they will keep their new appearance in the pantheon.

I hope this helps!
