"complexity of the traits" on unknwon realms
What exactly does that do? On "normal" I had umbral abyss AND Toll of seasons in a forming land where a prophet ruled... which are pretty harsh realm traits to me. xD
Is is the amount of traits, which get set by this setting?

Havent really tried it yet. But i guess the highest complexity will be the ones to drastically change how you have to do fights. Like marauders and cities get free revives. Or certain areas negate healing.

I just started at "complex" setting and there is no umbral abyss and the world isn't forming. At least the start is easier than on normal. xD (Marauders don't have anything special threatening)

From what i now its still rng. The highest rating probably just contains all modifiers.

If i would have to place them I think stuff like massive underground, changes to enemy types or more wonders would be simple ones.

Megacities, Motivated Truce and regenerating Infestations sound like more complex ones to me. As they alter the gameplay drastically.

Toll of seasons on the other hand is just a guaratnee that a certain cosmic event will happen in midgame.

I wouldn't count "Toll of Seasons" as a cosmic event... or do you refering to something else?

It is one of the cosmic happenings. It can appear randomly if you enable cosmic happenings. Just like the one where a worldtree invades, the realm becomes focused on peace or archers get a buff and debuff.

The trait is just a guarantee that this specific cosmic happening will happen. Probably because it is the biggest one with its own storyline.
