Also I'm pretty sure it only triggers in the first place if you're making little/no progress on that hero's ambition.
It triggered the SECOND TURN I had them. Jeez, be patient I'm moving you towards my ruler from town
And i love it.
Because now i accauly have to care what hero i take instead of making the same copy over and over again.
Limits exist to be overcome.
They are not mandatory to do, and the hero wont leave you or w/e. Just when you get the popup to either change or keep your ambition, you can just keep the one you've got, and keep on ignoring it.
You'll just miss out on some bonuses, that's it.
Hero rework has been a blast and brought new life to the game for me. The Ambitions have been semi fun, i tend to ignore them most the time. Not sure why dreading something you can ignore is even an issue some how?
Nobody's going to open each one of their heroes every couple of turns to remember/figure out which one should be doing what.
I often do my first 2 heroe's ambitions, after that they tend to get completely ignored.
Any with very specific requirements, like personally killing X also gets ignored from the start.
