If you have a town nearby, you can expand onto an ancient wonder you cleared like a province improvement, you can also build an outpost in a neighboring province, upgrade the outpost with a work camp, and take it over that way.
Not to be thick, but i'd like to know what is:
-An outpost
-A Neighboring province
-A work camp
I think a province is like a spot you build like a farm or a mine in?
I think i can start over and reset the tutorials?
Ok, so, I'll go from the beggining: Provinces are the individual zones on the map, you'll notice when you expand a city you get to pick a structure to build in each zone? Those are provinces.
If you have a hero in a province, you can build an outpost by selecting the province the hero is standing in. (if you're barbarian their scouts can also do this for a higher cost, but thats a feature of barbarians)
Outposts are used to found more cities, but also have various upgrades that are used for different purposes, like they can be upgraded with watchtowers to keep an eye on parts of the map.
One of the upgrades on an outpost is called "Work camp" which lets the outpost claim a province like the way a city expands.
You can't build an outpost in a province that has an ancient wonder, but you can build one next to the wonder and then use a work camp to claim it.
You also can't claim a wonder that hasn't been cleared, and if a different faction clears a wonder, you have to take control of the wonder which is considered hostile and takes a few turns, so if you build an outpost next to a wonder you plan to clear, and someone else clears it, you may have to fight them for control of it.
