can't run the game , stuck on "running install scripts microsoft .net framework"

Anyone know what to do in this situation? First time I have ever had this problem.

Same with me. I had to run the game as an administrator from the Steam folder on the hard-drive to get it to work.

Figured it out. When first hitting play there is a pop up from steam that says something about running in admin mode. If you click "yes" you get the infinite install problem. If you click "no" it goes right into the game.

I think it has something to do with how steam and the paradox launcher interact. But anyway...just click "no."
