How do I make an AI necromancer?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to understand how to influence the AI decision making in research, specifically in what combination of culture and personality most guides AI research and recruitment toward being a necromancer.

This question comes after trying several games against the provided dark culture leaders and making a couple custom leaders of my own. In one game, the AI just spammed rally troops at me for every battle. In a second game, the AI started with mostly dark and 1 chaos tome, and I ended up fighting armies of chaos eaters and other chaos demon summons. in the third game, the AI did field necromancers and skeletons to a small extent, but started spamming eagle riders as tier 4 units. This was in a game where the AI started with full shadow affinity.


So a couple questions. What combination gives the most tendency to play against a necromaner AI?

Follow-up question. I could not find this anywhere in the steam forums. Where can I find information on how the personalities influence tome research and recruitment? Are there certain personalities that are more inclined to using undead? To summoning? To being more nature themed? Or is it all a matter of starting culture and tomes, and then RNG?

Any information you could offer would be greatly appreciated. If this info is somewhere to be found, I'd be happy to simply follow a link.

You don't. At best you will have an A.I. using some of the shadow tome units and spells, but nothing really consistant, like necromancers in each stack doing their reanimaton thing.

You can do that in AoW3 there is a necromancer class and its handling it really bad as A.I. compared to a Warlord A.I.

The A.I. is just very bad in necromancing, when it comes to AoW games.

You would wait for the necromancy rework that is due for release, where necromancy is at least more viable.

I have a spooky halfling and he alway end being a necromancer, took two dark tome for him but might be luck
