Seafaring Bug

"You must research Seafaring from the Empire Skill Tree before units can go across water." Problem is I already have that skill so... what do I do now???

Never seen or heard of the problem before. Are you using mods?

I am using mods but nothing that should effect the Empire Skills or there implementation.

Are you using Anya's Arcanum? That one is known to mess with embarking.

Modding 101: if you didn't make the mod, you have no idea what it's doing under-the-hood.

Just because it "shouldn't" be doing something, doesn't mean it isn't.

I figured it out, ( I think) save and reload.
end your turn at the coast. it seems to take your very 1st step to enter. also make sure your army is 6/6. the last part 6/6 may not be needed. idfk. good luck!

I ran into something similar, not sure if it's the same exact issue. i moved a scout to the edge of the land, then researched seafaring. He still had movement left. But, the available moves in the UI didn't update, like it was indicating that I couldn't go in. But I was like wait I have seafaring now hello? So I just clicked into the water and it worked, I didn't get an error message. I think it just doesn't update the UI when you research it.

Anyasha broke the damn embarking system with Anya's Arcanum somehow

EDIT: use Anya's Arcanum Rebuilt, unsubscribe from the original. Should work then
