'Lord of Chaos' means... what?
So, one of the hidden Achievements requires you to lead a specific culture/race combo to victory as a 'Lord of Chaos'... nice reference, sure, but what does a 'Lord of Chaos' MEAN, exactly, in this game? I thought at first that it was a title that you could take if you had enough Chaos-alignment, but no, that's 'Chaos Prince'. Does it mean winning a Chaos-type Magic Victory? Or just researching a Tier V Chaos Tome? I really don't wanna play through a whole game just to find out I got it wrong...

From what i gather, you need to win with the following:
Dark Culture, Goblin racial form, The tier 5 chaos tome "The Chaos Lord".

Gotcha, thanks for the help. I'll probably go for the Age of Chaos arcane ending, too, just to be on the safe side... :P8:
You don't need a magic victory. I got it on Story Mission 3 through a quest victory. The reference is to another Triumph game called Overlord in case anyone is wondering. You don't have to be a Human Wizard King for the achievement, but its fun for flavor

I was wondering that, but I don't know enough about overlord to draw the connections. Just that you play some big evil sauron-type dude with a swarm of goblins.

Not much more to get really. A group of adventurers defeat the Sauron-type bad guy, then fall into each of the 7 deadly sins. The Dwarf is greedy, the halfing is gluttonous, etc. You play as the Overlord and have to rebuild your evil realm by defeating the heroes. It is very funny.
'twas good times, and the first sequel wasn't bad either, but the series went rapidly downhill from there and then ultimately faded into nothingness. Not really surprising, seeing as it was ultimately based on a single gimmick, which unavoidably wore thin after a couple of games.

We only made the first two Overlord games, we weren't involved with any of the titles that came afterwards.

That... explains a lot. :P Now I kinda' wanna go play OverLord 2 again - never *did* get the other ending in that one...
