Strange Graphics for Undead?
My memory might be faulting me, but I think graphics for undead units have gone weird on my side.

Is this normal? It kinda feels like it is stuck halfway between trying to render them undead and normal at the same time. If it is not normal, does anybody know a way to fix it?

The head having low opacity in order to (partially) reveal a skull and eyes indeed normal for undead in Age of Wonders 4.

Thank you for confirming! I do not know why I was remembering this looking differently in the past. I might be mixing up memories of AoW3 with AoW4 or something.

It looks better on anything that has not much hair as undead makes every unit bald by default. Try to use wightborn or animate hero on units that have long hair styles.

Yeah, Wightborn doesn't look very good at certain angles. I get the illusion they were after, with the skin being missing and bones beneath, but the skull should be a lot closer to the skin than they depict.

That is what confused me, the areas where skull shows seem to change depending on the angle I look from, and the transparency seems to be inconsistently pixellate. I think I do remember them being different earlier, but that might likely be my memory faulting.

It is hard to show in an screenshot instead of a recording, I guess.
