Finally beat Nimue on the third try!

That was tough. I actually won an Expansion Victory on a generated map and, while that was really tough, it was nothing compared to Nimue.

In the end, I used a special build for ranged units that I found on this forum. If you go looking, don't use the OP's build. Someone came along later in the thread and put up their own update for the build taking account the latest updates. It really worked and by the time I got to end game, my archers were picking off Tier I and II units in one hit kills and two or three could take down pretty much anyone. Still, it was hard.

For those that haven't fought Nimue to the end, Let Mr. Toad and Ratty fight her in the early and middle game. I don't think Mr. Toad will ever attack Nimue's last city. But even then, I took six full units there and I needed them. Nimue counter attacked as I approached her last city in a high risk battle that I managed to win but with heavy losses. I was able to reinforce with my second rank and besiege the city before Nimue had time to reinforce. Still, she got like 5 units in one turn.

Have fun in Crimson Caldera, the next Campaign map. I just completed it today with Dragon Lord, and my Godir it felt like I spent a lifetime on that campaign.
