Opinion on Dreadnaught?
In my opinion, the same problems like with most other Mythic-class units applies. For such an expensive upkeep-wise unit (while gold might not be a problem in late game, you need 2 ancient wonders to support 3 units influence-wise) it is fairly lackluster and especially not being able to increase the range, apply debuffs etc really make it less exciting as it could have been.
In my opinion, the only proper mythic unit which is not hurt by being in this class is the Order levitating alter which scales with the size of your army all the way to being able to oneshot many strong units.

Assuming you're talking about the ironclad, yeah, it's definitely needlessly hurt by being a mythic. Supposedly it was originally going to be a ranged unit instead, but they nerfed it and gave it nothing to compensate. It doesn't have the stats or utilities of a mythic, it's just a ranged unit that isn't allowed to have enhancements.

Yeah, precisely. The thing can't even shoot multishot thing every turn!
And the special ability to sunder armor or cause bleeding once a battle? Well, other units do that with every attack.

I was using 2 in every army in my last game. One big aoe is not doing much but when you have 2 of them and use tuning kits and extra turn from hero its great. I feel it slots in well with the other units you get from the new tomes and is great progressing from t3 to t4, to some t5, It was not one of the units I replaced with something new.

If anything I am a bit skeptical of the new t5 golem. I went for tome of the golden realm over tome of severing.

I haven't tried the new golem yet, but what they did to the golden golem makes me weep.

well at least all the new spells from the dlc work well with the Gold Golem since its a construct.

Being a mythic construct kind of makes it a waste of space in an army.
