Presence Traits modding

I want to make a mod, very very simple, to allow me to adjust the difficulty settings on the AI for presence traits. For example, so I can play against the demon prince on normal difficulty instead of very hard.

I am a casual player I'm not interested in spending hours and hours fighting off AI doomstacks of horned gods in what is supposed to be a story campaign about fighting demons. I'm not interested in "get good" comments thanks.

anyone have any ideas how I might do this? no experience modding but I figure it can't be that hard, I just dont know where to start

The Demon Prince setting is *not* a story campaign. It is supposed to be about fighting off unfair odds, and you should not be attempting it until you are more confident in your abilities.

It is *meant* to be a challenge.

You can always set the world threat the low and the AI to easy if you are having issues.

I'm plenty of confident in my abilities I actually was taking cities, I just didn't want to deal with it. To whit: I got bored of the grind. Again not interested in blase "get gud" comments thanks for confirming my low faith in the internet.

and no, you can't set the AI to easy that is my entire POINT if you were paying attention, clearly however you were not

There is a mod on the workshop that removes all bonuses from the Ai (zero cheat mod, I believe) and that makes the endless hordes of doomstacks not happen. You'll fight three armies at once one time and after that the AI has to rebuild as a player would. Try this? I am not sure if the mod is still up to date though :/
