Barbarian Culture Options

So I actually really like playing as the Barbarian culture, however, I would like my barbarians to look more.. like viking raiders, rather than cavemen. I was wondering if there would be like.. Army cosmetics and such that we could get access to.

The Barbarian culture covers such a wide variety of potential barbaric cultures in the world, and it would be neat if we could theme/skin our faction around these. It currently feels more like.. I guess a Conan the Barbarian style.. barbarian? Which is fine, but I would like to be able to change to a sort of Norse themed Barbarian.

There are mods that let you adjust this and change it and there is a Viking reskin mod for Barbarians, but having it baseline where you could change your cultural units attire somewhat to really nail that Faction vibe you're going for would be huge!

I honestly wish Triumph went all out with the whole customization aspect, since that seems to be the main draw for players coming in. They should have pulled something similar to Fallen Enchantress. IIRC you could customize the heck out of your units in that game. A system like that would have fit this game nicely.

This game really has space to grow, but is bottlenecked as hell atm. it's DLCs will have to come with a ton of content or it will feel like a gigantic wasted potential.

It's possible in mods, but it's not possible in the game, currently.
