Fearless?

The enemies in the Ancient Wonder Trees have Fearless. However I know that they loose the buff because I have seen them flee combat on some occasions. Does anyone know what could cause them to loose the Fearless buff?

I believed the Horned God gives Fearless to plants and animals. If it dies, it can no longer provide the buff, so maybe it is that or something similar.

It's actually the Horned God that I have seen run away on multiple occasions. I'm trying to figure out what makes them immune to moral changes as I was trying to see if I could "bag" one with "Final Ultimatum". I know it would be easier to just summon one or get it legitimately from the tree but, I want to see if it possible "For Science".

I was under the impression Horned God had Fierce the same way many T4-5s do and was thus immune to routing. But I could be wrong.

So I think you might be right. I mind controlled one of the 2 horned Gods and the other lost the buff!

Yes, the Horned God has Fierce.
It doesn't flee, it's executing a tactical retreat.
