i got like 8 farms but my population still wont grow enough to get more land to build more farms...
and i got about 5 gold mines. i cant build more cause i cant get more Land.. and when i get land, i tend to build Farms to get More land... so the gold mines lays behind.
a) Even if your population grew enough, over time you need higher tier town halls / city upgrades to be able to expand further
b) you are missing modifiers and probably army upkeep here
Every time someone is wondering about such, they forgot to check their army upkeep/structure upkeep, often seeing multiple indicators that they actually expanded too fast / incorrect so that run into such issue to begin with.
Don't be afraid to mix and match the bonus of your provinces. For instance, if you have sheep for bonus food, build a quarry. You get the bonus of the food and will shave a couple of turns off your starting buildings. If you have gold, build a farm or quarry. You can actually snowball your economy faster by balancing food/gold/draft and giving production more focus at the start.
Don't forget to also be careful of what Unit Enchantments or other decisions that could be draining your gold early on. It's easy to have a ton of income at the start and easily be spending everything at the start of a turn on passive spells or units.
my army upkeep is a none issue. my town hall was lvl 4.
i didnt run out of money. i didnt have enough to get more then 3, tire 1 armies..
and i didnt get enough population to gain more Land so i could build more gold mines or farm for food to gain more population to gain more land for more farms.
You did not forget you can increase population instantly with Imperum, did you?
will try that, though my main issue is that i cant gain land without pop, and i build many farms for pop.. but now i cant get more land to take over. to build "gold" or "food"..
i have a steady income but stuck. xD
That... is normal economis. Hence why you build outposts and additional cities. Outposts e.g. can help you with gathering global income, so you can focus on other stuff "at home". But then what you wrote sounds to me more like you have different expectations about how those things are supposed to work, especially in early game.
only had 1. was playing the Tutorial map.
not really. i saw one guy play for 3 hours with the same traits and race as me "underground though".. it went good for him with both expansion and everything. so i dont know what i did wrong. he too, also had 1 city. but Im playing in the tutorial map.. so might have something to do with it, not much to explore.
Certainly. The customise realm settings are utmost important for the game flow. And yet what you experience is still normal.
you dont seem to get my point... im bottle necked... I cant gain more population to gain more land, cause i have no land to build on. and no land means no more food for "more land" and no more gold. ohow the hell is that normal
Based on who and where you are playing. The key is you do efficient expansion. Build you buildings the right way, they can be boosted in lots of ways meaning they cost less to build.
You can get prodaction from the events that will finish mutiple buildings in one turn same as gold... you can sell items get loot rewards and so on. Again hard to tell you what to do without seeing the map.
There is an option small icone down right in the providance windwon that could help, it changes already made improvements... Like lets say you change a quarry to gold or a farm...
so what buildings should i focus on first then ? in my town i mean.
