AI opponents moving in the same round as Human players?
In the middle of my turn the AI enemy jumped me out of nowhere, is there a way for us Human players to do simulatenous turns and the AI doing their after?

No, that would be unfair to AI ;)
I usually wait until AI is done with their moves (you get an indicator) and only after that start moving units.

Oh gotcha, yeah I might start waiting for my turn if so, it's very annoying having the AI stealth you when moving one of your units and not able to move the backup unit in time for a battle

the same thing happened to me, didnt know this game would not know how to implement something that was already figured out in civ, how disappointing.

Er, what? Like an above poster said, you just wait for the opponent to finish their turn when you hit the "End Turn" button. Voila, gameplay exactly like it is in Civ.

The "simultaneous movement" is an *option* playes can use to shorten wait times, if they so choose.

Simultaneous turn against the AI is pretty much just "AI goes first".

The AI will always have an advantage in simultaneous moves, they can move all their units at the same time at any point during "your turn". If the game takes advantage of that, it could go badly for humans.

Or you know you could just set the classic turns options.

Does that let us humans in multiplayer take our turns simultaneously though? If not then that's not really an option.

Oh this is a multiplayer situation then? I didn't realize. Classic and Simultaneous turns are general settings you can set in any game mode singleplayer or multiplayer.

Yeah there is no point for simultaneous turns in SP that I can see. But for coop MP it's pretty brutal the way the AI can just mass wipe one unit before you have time move the next one up for backup.
