I can get a nice timelapse of my vassal resting inside a dragon lair that has grown over to his city and he moves and claims fine.
The AI does not attack and claim nodes? Then broken. The AI does not attack infestations or vice versa? Then broken. Needs to be fixed. It is not a living world if the living world only responds to you and not your opponents. If this is the case this is my first big beef with AOW4.
This is not good at all. So disappointed.
In that same game, I've also had an infestation of undead (Cursed Souls, Bone-golems, Banshees) wipe out an Free City that the AI vassalized.
Maybe it's based on game difficulty settings (I was playing on Medium difficulty on the first scenario.) Maybe it's just a rare occurence, and my game may be a fluke (the first time it happened was around turn 56, the second was around turn 80 or so), but honestly, it SHOULD be a rare occurence.
Having the game say, "Hey, players, hoping to explore this dungeon for sweet loot? Well F*** you, the AI deleted that opportunity" would be...questionable design if it happened very often. :b
They are still classed as independents, like the infestations.
AI means AI factions, and they will attack infestations.
Vassals will not.
