From my understanding just keep making them on a new game and they should save, least that what I read.
You gotta be kidding... That seems extremely tedious. Really blows my mind there's no shortcut on the main menu for the faction creator like past titles.
I guess that's a work around. I really hope they update it in the future to make the faction creator more easily accessible from the main menu.
This'll have to do for the time being though.
Also sad I can't pre-set AI personalities and tome selection for custom AI characters. That also seems like an oversight. It tends to put tomes and personalities on characters that do not remotely fit the character idea. Hoping mods fix this soon.
I created a new game, made adjustments my custom faction, started the game with it, finished it, and my custom faction still did not save those changes.
I find it hard to believe the devs could have overlooked something as simple and basic as just a way to edit an existing faction, maybe I just have some sort of weird file permission issue.
Is this method working for anyone else?
MP lobby seems to keep the changes. Well, it gets confused and saves your edit as a new faction, but that will suffice.
Yeah, this works. This is basically what I've been doing.
