Do I need a last name?
It would seem so. If I delete the last name of my ruler, the field is left blank, but the description reverts to 'Cardoc' (the default) as my last name. Not sure if this is a bug, or it's intentional to force all rulers to have a last name for narrative or text generation purposes or whatnot.

This perplexes me. My imaginary king has always been known as simply "King Eldrick". I'm not sure what last name to give him :/

Hey Donuel, it is understandable that your fantasy might not include a Last Name. We're aware of issues where a Last name is applied even if the text field is left empty.

For kings, they weren't really named by their last name (aka dynasty name), but monikers were pretty common. So King Eldrick the Wise could work.

You can give him a nickname that reflects his personality like 'the Wise' or 'the Strong' or 'the ♥♥♥♥' or smth. Will look authentic

Another thing is that the surname field doesn't allow spaces. So I can't have my character Altar the Righteous. I've been forced to rename him to "Altar Lightbringer".

I found a way around this. I made one of my enemies "Olgruth the Brutal" (Orc Warlord).
What I had to do was type "theBrutal", then move the cursor between the words, and it let me type in the space. Hope this helps! :)
