I think I got this in 2022, the make and model is probably cheaper now. Hard to say with inflation, but there are much better ones now.
I have had 0 issues with triple A performance driven titles, like Elden Ring.
Yea dude, you're one of the unlucky for who the game doesnt run and that sucks for sure.
Maybe I should've phrased the title differently , but my point remains the same.
For most people it works perfect.
And for unlucky people like you, there hopefully soon will be a patch that makes it good for ALL systems.
I'm just annoyed by the review bombing and claims the claim is an utter failure while thats NOT the case for most people.
EDIT: This isn't to say that others DON'T have issues. PC hardware configurations are extremely varied and it can be difficult to optimize for all systems by day 1, no matter how much it upsets people that's just how it can be. Source: am in game development.
If people do have issues before they are actually fixed, I appreciate that affected players report these problems in reviews and in posts here. Commercial reviews on review sites obviously can't be relied on as even games with universal issues, like the Jedi game, get 8/10 from some sites with no mention of problems. Steam reviews may not be perfect, but they are better than the alternatives.
I'm on the fence about buying this game, and this is why I read reviews and posts. I can appreciate that the "devs are jumping in and trying to fix the issues immediately", but until they are actually fixed, not only promised to get fixed, the negative reviews do help potential buyers like me and should be posted.
The irony of this statement. 400 reviews out of 40,000 CURRENTLY playing. And only half of those 400 are negatively reviewing because of performance issue. Do you see? Do you see how your own argument backfired?
