Huge performance issues.

Ok so, I just wanna be sure I am not the only one suffering from huge performance issues.

I tested the game on both ultra and low. I still get like 40% CPU usage in menu and 70-80% in use when playing campaign. On both low and ultra.

What is going on here? My spec:
intel core quad i7-4790 3.60GHz 8-threads
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080
Running on a Samsung SSD EVO 1tb
16GB RAM

What else do you wanna know?

I've refunded the game for now. I spose my rig is too weak for this game.

For additional details:
I get better performance running Total War Warhammer 3 on my Rig than being on the menu and campaign in this game. It is actually giving me anxiety to play this.

It's overheating my CPU and GPU at high settings. Ryzen 3700x and 3060Ti

My total CPU usage while on a call with GF is like 90-95% use. I feel like I should refund.

No denuvo no, no performance issues here with a 2080 ti, random crashes every now and then tho

Hey, sorry to hear that. That should definitely not be the case. I heard some people were able to mitigate CPU load by changing the VSync setting. Let me know if that does anything.

Bro, its 2023, we're on Freesync or Gsync these days to avoid VSync input lag

Almost using highest and lowest does about NOTHING to prevent CPU use.

I turned shadows to medium. Everything else is on high. Dropped temps a bit (hitting 80 now).

I'll hop in. I disabled Vsync for these tests.

It gets very hot on my laptop, too. And it has terrible performance. It doesnt matter if I turn everything to ultra or low... it is stuttering most in battles. on campaign map its 60fps but it feels like it stutters... I have Ryzen 7 5800, rtx 3070 and 32 gb ram. Game is installed on ssd I guess I will check it out on Steam Deck

Similar spec and issue - using i9 though, fans go crazy on race creation haven't even dared to launch the game yet
