Why always 1 week pre release all the influencer on twitch and co?

I understand, advertisment, but for me, it is counterproductive.

Wanted to buy and play it after streams, but cannot play it pre 02.05.2023 (edit, old year were 2024 for the time traveler)...

so i feel like a second hand player, and really, 50 bucks for this feelings, is questionable.

If you start a 1 week influencer campaign, do a 1 week pre release early access, and let the people buy and play.

That's the gimmick of my accessibility reviews. Give my thoughts. Show off the game. That way people know EXACTLY what hurdles they might have to jump through. Plus it shows the devs what things actually cause issues for the disabled... well, for one disabled anyway.

The few devs who've watched their reviews have been very thankful for the perspective.

Views benefit the streamer, not the game.

I don't agree with reviewers getting games for free either.
Partly because it's again over-privilege and partly because publishers use it as a weapon in order to influence good reviews.

i agree, streamers are benefiting from get the game for free and playing, while the one that bought the game need to watch... if the game already fine to be show on stream (playable) so everyone start play it...
streamer are seen as some demi god, getting think first for free and other game give advantages (like PoE , streamer rng and ability to conect while other are waiting) and things go on.
it's strange to me this condition to where we are, the payer need to wait and the one that get for free...
i personally prefer play the game instead of watching... and ppl say that streamers is a propaganda... but make payer wait for a ready game is too a bad one.
and streamers aren't that great, the gamers community that supply the machine is older than this streamers shi+.

It won't be strange once you get your own job. Then you'll hopefully realise that it's their JOB to showcase a video game while entertaining their audience. Have you ever stopped to think why these particular content creators received their free game to stream?

I didnt know about this game. Saw a youtube video. Bought it today. so at least one sale made
