Thanks for this. Unfortunately this confirms my fears. There is no marathon setting like the Civ games. Only a setting that effects how much resources and army units you start with as the game begins like the previous AOW games. There is no setting that slows down the game production, research, construction, magic, mana production etc. I hope this is something they will consider adding in the future...

Hmm thanks well that is something then. Slows down research and food for pop growth. They should put that in the tooltip then for game speed as there is nothing that mentions it? When he clicks on Game Speed it just says select the amount of resources each player receives at the start of the game as well as the size of the starting army. Next in the video he clicks on starting conditions and that tooltip says Start with -50% starting resources and a smaller initial army.
