you get u low amount of u mats to beat them, and you get okay rewards for beating the missions. however - there are no "mode exclusive rewards"

There is a PPP Powerhouse achievement.

Honestly, most of the time large combos will occur for you by accident. Focus on the glowing poms for a free 100 CP, but everything else just flows naturally.

Use your S-craft attack after your opponent uses their attack (unless their attack will make you lose), so that they can't counter it.

Basically yeah, just remove poms & obstruction at the center & wait till you get 999, then strike. If you are going to be toppled, use existing CP to clear bottom lines & continue going to get 999. Almost all opponents fall on that. One or two may require you a whole bunch of attempts (for me Randy settings were the only annoying), but just press on & you'll get it.

i thought it gave you a master quartz like steel 4 or 3

Because every character joining the party comes with their own master quartz and that there's an unprecedented veeery large amount of playable characters in this game, the amount of master quartz you get in ANY OTHER way is almost 0. That's why achievements that would have earned you one in the previous game don't here. We don't want to end up with 70 master quartz to level up. We already have 50 characters to level up, that should be more than enough.

Reading the novels in japanese I'm mostly exited that the hiatus is over and that we get 2 volumes back to back in one month TBH. I didn't even know the anime was pushed back, but that sucks indeed.

yeah they aired a special shortly after movie which usually means a new season 2 or 3 months later. tanya such a refreshing isekai now every fantasy is unwatchable to be since they turn into one dimensional harems

I just keep retrying until the ai give me pity wins.
Kinda surprised I actually beat them all after losing like 20 times to each of them, just hit retry again and again and suddenly you see your cp went up for combos you didn't even think of and bam hit them with 999 cp attack and win.

As others said keep the center clear as that is what matters the most. Try your best to do that but it may not always go your way. The AI is crazy fast well beyond human speed so you need to time your attacks. If you can keep the center low then save your big attack till right after they pop theirs! The AI will ALWAYS counter your attack so if you wait till they use their CP they'll be unable to do much. Don't do this if you see they have most of their screen cleared though just tough it out and wait.

You can counter if you notice you are high up and about to get ko'd but the game will just get faster, kinda like tetris. Having a big stack can actually net you some crazy combos without even knowing they are there so don't give up if it gets high. Its a gigantic pain in the butt but you can do it!
Killermoose69 Nov 16, 2023 @ 5:55pm
was about to say, there is no way you get these combos faster than AI...cheating lol
Alex Nov 19, 2023 @ 10:58am
Actually no. With a decent bit of Tetris experience when being kid, I'm now getting pretty much faster than this game AI. The only AI that gives me run for the money is 'Randy', tested for a second time. And yeah, once you play more and more - if you don't take it too leisurely - you'll notice you're speeding up as well. It's just enough to beat up all the block giving effort I think.
