Rean Schwarzer back in Action!?

Hey,

i started playing Trails into Reverie and now i am confused, so you guys could probibly help me.

It´s bin a while since i played cold steal IV, but if i remember correctly, Rean an Crow was "gone" at the end of cold steal IV
Now I started playing Trails into Reverie and at some early point i can switch to Rean and he´s back, and it looks like nothing happend.

So what am I missing?

Did I miss a game between cold steal IV and Trails into Reverie?
Is an explanation comming later in the game?
Plays trails into Reverie before cold steel IV? (timeline)

Sounds like you didn't actually finish Cold Steel IV to get the second "true ending".

So 2 notes, CS4 forces the first ending even if you have the pre reqs for the true ending. as it turns out it matters. If you cant pick up from a CS4 save and play it out by nuking the OTHER guardian beast, (big earth dragon) as he gives you the other option. Then i would recommend thinking of Reverie as a slight AU, an alt timeline if they found another option in the final moments. Some notable differences the septerions being intended as wish granters and not being entirely spent, (you had 2 in the end) They burned the last of the power to resurrect Millium and Crow, ever sinse Millium is trying to get in Jussus's pants and Crow has been trying to help North Ambria. Old Rean rested and went back to teaching. All the intervening events are covered in the day dreams so no worry's about that.
