CLE save works on NISA port

so i somehow got my CLE clear save file to work finally... although the space for it on the nisa port shows it as an auto save but if i load it... bam there it is, then you just make another clear save at the purple mirror for NG+ fun.

the trick seems to be that in the CLE port clear saves start from slot 250 onwards, while the NISA ports clear saves start from 285 onwards

Even though this is good news and I still have my CLE saves, I would rather restart a new game. But still, thanks a TON for confirming this!

no probs... i started playing a new game but then i was like.. nah ive already done this i want all my upgraded crafts and orders and just go through the story again but with the english DUB too see how it is.

I tried moving them over and still says need to update the game. How did you get it to work out exactly, just changed the number of the save file?

so for me when i dragged across a clear save, not normal save in the CLE version clear saves start at 250 in the list so when i tried to find it in the NISA version it was 250 there aswell but called an autosave with the autosave thumbnail. upon opening it it loaded into the reverie corridor where i was instead of starting a new game. then i made a new clear save in the NISA version at the purple mirror which then put it in where the clear saves are located from 285 onwards.

go back to main menu load the new clear save you just made and it worked for me.

NOTE; if you dont own all costume dlc's and thee sss beach dlc for the NISA version it probably wont work as the CLE version gave you all of that for free and was all earnable ingame so if it see's you have it in your inventory it may block you from loading that file aswell.

sorry i just realised what was happening, i think what i must have done by mistake was carry across my autosave and loaded that cause it turns out i was looking at the wrong row.

try teleporting or going to a different layer in the reverie corridor so it makes a new autosave which starts at 250 even in the CLE version and then carry across your autosave to the NISA version and try loading that.

tell me if that works sorry i am big dumb for not noticing

So for future people looking for an answer it was absolutely the DLC, its ridiculous but after buying the costume sets ( 3 total ) the save worked and I am on NG+. Thanks to Zekkn for apparently being the first to get this working.

So for future people looking for an answer it was absolutely the DLC, its ridiculous but after buying the costume sets ( 3 total ) the save worked and I am on NG+. Thanks to Zekkn for apparently being the first to get this working.

while its annoying that was the issue and you had to spend more money im atleast glad that we finally find a work around so our 140+ hours of character level grinding and weapon/accesory grinding didnt go to the void.

Now we just need them to fix the games countless bad english translation changes and we are set.

Hope you have fun on your newgame+ run. also note if you want to play through on abyss but keep your stuff carried over just start the game on nightmare then after the first fight just switch it to abyss and add the +100 LVL modifier otherwise enemies kinda vanish just by being looked at.

i would also recommend taking screenshots of your gear/quartz loadouts from the CLE version as upon starting a new game it unequips all loadouts so the pictures really help when re setting everyone back up once you gain access to the reverie corridor again after the prologue.
