What does Intelligence on Nayutas gear do?

Typically it enhances spell damage but he doesnt cast spells (unless the special gear abilities count) so what is its purpose for him? Does it effect Noi depsite him having it equipped?

from my experience, yes. if you increase int then Noi's arts get more powerful, even if the stats are on Nayuta's gear. better to think of them as one unit in combat than as two completely separate characters.
