Cannot fish at Ursula Road- Estuary in Chapter 3 Day 2
So I just got the Viking Rod and am trying to complete my fishing notebook further. One fish I'm missing is the Pale Salamander. The guide I'm using says to fish from Ursula Road- Estuary. There's only one problem: The fishing prompt isn't appearing for me. I am running up and down the estuary and the prompt does not appear.

Can someone please look into this?

Where exactly are you trying to fish? Some fishing spots are different from where they were in Zero, and it's possible the guide you're using has gotten things mixed up. The only spots on Ursula Road in Azure are on the Sandbar at the end (on the south side) and the Pond near St Ursula's Hospital (where Sharkman is). The Sandbar spot is the 'Estuary', though the fishing book in the game calls it the 'Lakeshore'.

To expand on this post too, there is also a chance that it is the pond where the fishing quest NPC is. This pond would be completely inaccessible until after you defeat said NPC in a fishing battle. The fishing hole will display as being there, but the prompt will not appear until he is defeated.

I was trying to fish on Ursula Road - Estuary, basically the lake ruins area in Ursula Road 1. The Zoelius guide for Azure mentions being able to nap the pale salamander there.

There is no fishing spot here in Azure. You can definitely catch it in the ancient battlefield sewer though.

Noted. That's strange. Pretty much everyone tells me that Zoelius' guide is the authority to these games. And there's a mistake here. I guess I'll go voice it out.

i still don't have access to the Ancient Battlefield yet. But I did manage to get more Pale Salamanders from Geofront Sector B. So that's that. Not being able to access the Ancient Battlefield is blocking me from getting the Catfish tho.

A lot of it is just because the guide makers usually use the previous guide as a way to format the next one, and they tend to bring some of the previous data over, as a lot of the stuff for things like recipe ingredients, fishing rates, etc are the same. It is highly likely just a mistake that got overlooked, that is all.
