Final bonding scene
Hi, I'm playing Trails from zero, and I reached the conclusion that I want to see only one bonding scene, without reload the save, so I'm going to max up bonding point to Elie

I know that Trails to Azure have much more characters with bonding points.. I want to have the final bonding scene with Elie (but sometimes I want to take someone else for quests)...

So my questions are:

1) can I have the final bonding scene with Elie + someone else (if it is possible to reach multiple bonding scene that's ok for me, but there must be Elie in them) in one run but without reload the save? I want to have only one ending.

2) Must I be aware not to max up someone else bonding point before? I don't want to screw everything up

1) You can only see one bonding event without reloading from a save.

2) Order of maxing out the bonding points doesn't matter.

Just make sure to have max bonding with Elie and you'll be good. It's not difficult to max out the character that you want if you are intentionally going for just that one. You can check from the ingame achievement list to check how far you are with each character. When all if the heart icons are filled under a character you unlock the bonding event.

It's actually possible to max out everyone's bond in one playthrough, with careful management of how you take your opportunities.

Someone made a spreadsheet, but I can't find the original link at the moment.

Thank you.. so if I max bonding points with another character Before max Elie, this won't block the final bonding scene with Elie. Good

Yeah, I found that spreadsheet, but it seems that you can go for only one character final event at a time without reload a save (so, it seems that if you want to see all the bonding scenes, you have to reaload the save and maybe, I think, max up different characters)

That won't block the final bonding event for Elie. When the time comes for the final bonding event you'll get to choose from the characters that have achieved max bonding points.

People who qualify will ask to meet you and you can turn them down.

I'll add that one reason why you may want to max everyone is that certain characters get major backstory info revealed in their final event.

Good to know, thank you

Ok, with all these informations, I changed my mind, now I think I'll try to get all the bonding scene (also those from Zero).. The work is harder but I'll try not to mess things up :KeAZero:

Another important caveat: when I say you can max everyone out, that does mean needing to find some hidden quests and get all room decorations, etc. So just make many save files and check a guide just before or just after advancing plot to make sure you didn't miss something.

Most events give 2 bonding points. Performing 10(?) combo crafts before the end of Chapter 2 gives 2 points to all characters you do it with. Enigma covers give one each. A certain event in the intermission gives 4 It's picking which girl looks best in a swimsuit.

Presumably with Elie carried over from Zero, she gets a bonus 2 points. If you pick her for the 4-point thing, and the suntan lotion Intermission event, you only need to pick her for one additional quest.

You only need to take Rixia on one event in the intermission to unlock her ending, but you have to do it in the intermission.

I've got a more coherent write-up for it somewhere, actually, but this should be a good place to start.

Thank you, I'm following a guide for Zero, I think I'll follow a guide per Azure too :RenneZero:
I try to get the most complete experience from every game I play

Another question, just to be sure: if Elie, Tio, Randy, etc.. need for example 20 pt each. If I reach 25 pt. for Tio, this will block Elie final bonding? What I mean is: must I stop at 20 pt? Or if I get 21, 22, 23 etc.. it doesn't matter?

It doesn't matter. Unlike in Zero, you can get all the final bonding events in one playthrough, as long as you have enough bonding points (hearts) for each. You do need to save scum them, since you can do only one before the 'next day' happens and you need to sit through a bunch of cutscenes, an (easy) battle and even more cutscenes before you can save on a new file and reload your pre-final bonding event save, but that's the only complication.

So for example I can do as many Combo crafts as I want whithout concerning about having too much bonding point for a single character? Great :RenneZero:

Yes. This is indeed a great improvement in Azure compared to Zero, so combo away! :-p
