Transferring clear save data from Zero (Geofront) to Azure (Steam)

I've read around the forum and seen that Azure being unable to detect Zero save files is a common issue, but the solution's I've seen so far (change the clear savefile/SYSTEM file to data0201/data0255, etc) has had no affect - I am still unable to see any carry-over saves listed on the new game selection screen.

For context, my Zero folder (including the save files are) is located:
- Windows (C:)/ FALCOM/***_ZERO

While the Azure game folder is located:
- Windows (C:)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/The Legend of Heroes Trails to Azure
and the saves are located:
- Users/***/Saved Games/FALCOM/Ao

I have tried moving renamed copies of the savefile/SYSTEM folders to Saved Games/FALCOM/Ao but that has had no effect either.

Zero clear save files should be in Users/***/Saved Games/FALCOM/Zero
In order for Azure to pick them up when starting a new game.

Such folder doesn't exist by default, and when I made one and put the "savedata" folder into it, Ao still doesn't recognise it. (So its Users/***/Saved Games/FALCOM/Zero/savedata/...)

I have tried with the clear save folders called what they were originally, and renamed to data0201/0255, so I'm still stumped as to what I am missing. Any ideas?

Nevermind, I have found that the save files have to be DIRECTLY in the Zero folder for it to register --> Users/***/Saved Games/FALCOM/Zero/Data0255, etc. Your advice was massive help, cheers mate.
