As for the chests; the main reason to collect items from chest is actually ... to get those items, which are useful in the game! The secondary reason is, of course, to see all the chest messages. Records/Achievements are nice and all, but if those become the prime measure of importance, something has gone wrong with the player's priorities.
Is this the same for Azure too? I don't mind getting the chests again and doing the last scans on my Nightmare run. Only reason I was a bit salty is because the monster chests in the final dungeon got me above level 40 lol I can load the file and do it again or do a easy mode speedrun so I don't care that much
For the < lvl 40 Record/Achievement I recommend running through the final dungeon again (assuming you have a save at the start of it), fighting nothing but the bosses (running away from everything else you inadvertently bump into). You can even run way from the second boss fight (the 2 demonized mafioso). As long as yuo keep your Exp multipliers down, you should be able to make it. Don't forget to watch the whole ending and make a clear save afterwards, or the record won't stick.
