I correctly understood that this is not an updated, KAI version? Juna, Towa etc. will not be there? If so, I do not see what the point, if I already beat fan translation version.

This is based on the Kai version. Juna and Towa should be present.

There are also other changes and fixes present. There is a 3 part story in the news section going over what was done for this version. Only you can decide if it's worth it.

Unfortunately you are misinformed if you expect to see Towa and Juna in Zero. The new characters are only present in Azure Kai.

The short of it is that the most recent Falcom version - PS4 Kai - is the source for this port.

i just compared the graphics on this version to geofront version and i see no difference between the two aside from the UI is smaller compared to geofront translation.

I saw them in Chapter 2, and again in Chapter 4 for Lloyd's guest lecture. I didn't see Juna in Zero, but I expect her in Azure. Towa would only be present during the West Zemuria Trade Conference, which happens during Azure. (Azure and CSI end at the same time, shortly after the destruction of Garrelia Fortress).

Azure ends near end of CS2.

You'll get to visit the police academy in Azure, and that's where I'd expect her to be, especially as in the Geofront script there was a generic police NPC there that had lines that felt like they were written for her as it is!
