And the Flash version of World 3 was effectively a demake of what was released on consoles.
While we have plenty more we'd like to add to this Pack, versions of any of the levels seen in the console version of TFPA are unlikely to be added. Never say never! But I wouldn't bank on it.
Having played the demo and seen some commentary for TFPA on Xbox Live Arcade, my understanding is that it has these things that FPA3 doesn't:
-Multiplayer
-Minigames (such as time trials and golf) on an arcade machine
-Extra levels and bosses in the main campaign
-Different level art
-World 1 and 2 remakes (which this collection will included in the future)
Am I missing anything?
Multiplayer would be tricky, as Flash simply isn't cut out to support that. However, Brad IS a wizard. So never say never! Maybe it'd be added as a Remaster-only feature, and not a part of the "Classic" versions? We'll certainly TRY! But it's far too far off to know for sure.
Adding some form of integrated speedrunning support, and time trials is high on our own wishlist!
The extra levels, and custom art seen in the console release are still under the ownership of EA/OTT. It's unlikely they will be able to be brought over to this Pack. However, the planned "Backpages" will be brand new levels that are completely unique to this collection!
And yes, full Remasters of World 1 and 2 will be coming in future updates :)
The World 1 Remaster is complete!! We'll try to get that added as soon as the existing roster of games are polished up.
World 2 is notably further off. But hopefully we can do a beta-rollout of that as a part of Early Access!
