Sleeping Bug
Started happening after getting the echo seed and seed from the bunker. When I go to sleep, the cut-scenes play like regular until it gets to where the moon swaps to the sun. When i get to this point, the moon dissappears and the game gets stuck. I went to the main menu and started the save and redid the day. After going back to sleep again, cut-scenes play again but this time when i get to the moon going to the sun, the game suddenly jolts to the right of the screen where I can't see the moon, and the background singing just keeps repeating itself while i'm stuck on that screen.

I wasn't able to reproduce the bug with Lloyd's save data, but there definitely was an issue, evidenced by the error log I was sent. Lloyd was eventually able to progress after trying again several days later. I've seen the specific error before, and it's a weird one. My guess is there is a memory leak that affects a small percentage of players.

If you experience this issue, try to close the game as this will clear the memory. I don't know if this was the case with Lloyd, but there is evidence from other players that the issue is more likely to happen during long sessions (6+ hours) where the leak has a chance to build up memory usage.

Hi there Lloid! That's unfortunate, we're sorry to hear you're experiencing this. We're going to look into it and work on a fix as soon as possible.

Hi Lloyd, thanks for taking the time to share your issue here. Can you send me your save data folder to help me diagnose the issue? If you can't send it here, you can email it to happyshabbygames@gmail.com, or join our Discord and find me there.

Where is save data stored? This folder contains save data, config file, and error log (if generated). PC - AppData\Roaming\24Killers\Local Store#SharedObjects\24Killers.swf Steam Deck - $INSTALL_DRIVE/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1668310/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/24Killers/Local Store/#SharedObjects/24Killers.swf if you installed on your main drive then it should be in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compdata/etc (edited) March 20, 2023

I'd like the whole .swf "folder" so I can try a few different approaches. At the very least I'd like to try and fix your save so you can progress.

Yea that was the case for me, to be fair, I was playing it for like 7 hours straight.
