Slowdown / Lag Experience

Hello! I'm really digging this game. Great vibes.

I've been playing it entirely on a Steam Deck in desktop mode and the only performance hiccup I noticed occurred tonight. I played for about two hours straight. After winning over 2,000 Whispers on a Scratcher during a Blood Moon, the frame-rate started to slow down a bunch (maybe to around 15 to 20 FPS). I adjusted the window size down from 1920 x 1080 and limited the frame-rate to 30 FPS in the settings, which helped a little bit. I managed to get back to bed and save, and exited the game. Restarting it, the game seems to run without issue again.

I wonder if it was caused by playing for a long time without stopping? Could be any number of things, really.

Just figured I'd share this experience in case anyone else has it. Hopefully saving and restarting the game will help those in the same boat.

Glad your enjoying the game! And thanks for sharing this. Sounds like a potential memory leak. There will be a small content update at the end of December. If I can reproduce this I could potentially get a fix out with the update.
