Steam Deck PSA

Hello! Thank you for supporting 24 Killers.

People have had good success playing the game on Steam Deck, but you must change FMV to "slideshow" in the settings menu or the cutscenes will cause the game to crash because Steam Deck and 24K do not share a compatible video codec.

Hi Todd, as a backer, it's so amazing to finally being able to play this! Do you think the FMV issue will be fixed? Would love to play this on my Steam Deck and have the full experience.

Awesome to hear from you Nillansan. Glad you get to enjoy it finally.

As it stands this isn't something I can fix. It's a codec support issue. If the game is successful enough for me to be able to port it to other devices, that would include building a version of the game that supports the same codecs as Steam Deck.
