How to play Artemis Right???
I feel i don´t know how to play Artemis; with her was the first time I died during gameplay, and proceeded to die multiple times. She seems to be made to stay at 1 health to get the best of her habilities, but if you dont have at least 5 stamina, you´ll just die before taking out the enemies. her 1 base defense makes it even worse, specially when enemies often get +15 on total attack, making blocking it Very hard and dice expensive; she also recharges Stamina Slowly, i ran out of gold having to constantly sleep, heal and buy food for her. I strongly feel she Needs a buff, cause Slade is just better in every way

From what I've played, Artemis is all about stamina management. As long as she has 5 stamina, she can trade favorably and survive lethal hits because her regeneration passive kicks in even when you drop to 0 hearts. When her stamina is high, you are free to trade aggressively. When it's low, you play defensively and build it back up using Demand. The benefits she gets to both Break and Demand at 1 heart are core to her play-style, and I think even staying at 2 hearts makes her lose a lot of her potential. Break is her bread and butter as the AI doesn't account for the DEF swing it can give you and it will always net you 2 stamina gain. This gives you the flexibility to trade aggressively with her regeneration passive at a loss of 3 instead of 5 stamina, spend 2 stamina a turn for no net loss, or battery 2 stamina a turn if you are in no danger.

Due to her heavy reliance on stamina, any items and equipment that help you manage stamina are incredibly useful on her. I just completed a challenge dungeon run and the only item I didn't swap out for the whole run was the Crab Claw. With enemy manipulation, I could tank a hit and use Demand to net gain 1 stamina if I had to on a bad turn.

Keep food on hand and always have a way to bump yourself above 5 stamina in case you have to take a hit. If you have an unfavorable turn and can't hit back, you can use Burn to gain tempo for the next turn if your stamina is high enough. Otherwise, forcing a stalemate situation and using Demand to build stamina is always a great option. I would always prioritize keeping stamina above 5 if possible, and would drag on fights longer if I needed to in order to not run the risk of entering the next battle without enough stamina to tank a hit. Items and food are your safety net, and I often just took food from chests when I could.

I didn't use Engage as much the later into the game I went. It can be good for deleting enemies that are giving you trouble, but I often found the 5 stamina hit when playing at 1 hp to be too steep, especially since bosses can only take 1 damage due to their Tough passive. If planning to trade with it, you definitely need the armor item that limits your damage taken to 1 a turn.

Hope this helps!

Artemis is difficult to use but extremely fun. You're right; keeping her on 1 HP will generally be best. Her abilities are based around it, with her ACC 6 abilitiy giving +4 stamina when on said 1HP. Her passive means that she won't die if she has 5 or more stamina, which with good use of her abilities and food items isn't super difficult. On my first run, I found an equipment that only lets you take 1 damage per turn; this is great because it means you can use her ACC 7 ability to take damage, then you not only deal 2 damage, but also can't get hit by an enemy attack for their turn. Artemis is probably the most technical character, and requires you to think outside the box and use all her actions and to allocate dice well.
My big tip is to not spend stamina on stats unless absolutely necessary.

Artemis is the best character if you have the right item set up. She has incredible synergy with the mask and mirror item. For example, if you run mask + mirror + bracelet + ember gem, your almost guarenteed to 1 shot every enemy on the first turn for the price of 3 stam.

Artemis struggles not to take damage, so you have to make sure when you take damage, you exchange blows. Generally speaking, this goes in Artemis's favor unless you're doing challenge mode. I've found 2HP is her optimal state with enough to use enrage and get decent boosts without walking the line of death and losing out on enrage. Use steal, break, and burn liberally to avoid damage when possible or to get the most out of it when you can't. Use enrage on corrupted enemies to get them out of the way without burning stamina when you can.

The frying pan helps her a TON, granting her HP back for food as well as the apron which grants her extra stamina. Both of these make it significantly easier to soak damage and dish it back.

I got it! Let she be at 1 hp, equip cursed mask and buy stamina items.
I got so far on Challenge Dungeon using Break.
She's a high risk high reward char, but once you know how she works she is unstoppable!
