I need help with eFootball
I've downloaded and installed eFootball 2022 on my desktop which meets the requirements of the game but when I launch the game, steam dialogue box pops up saying "performing first time setup". Then after a long while the game window comes up. The window is black and nothing more happens. It just closes.

When I launch it again, performs first time setup again and then crashes at the black screen window.

I've tried a lot of things online. No result.

Any help will be appreciated.

ah yeah i should of mentioned that since os updates messed me up so many times now, but glad you sorted it out anyway

hmm had a similar problem with 2 different games........you could try this no idea if it will work though,,,,,reinstall your video driver as a "CLEAN INSTALL" with nvidia that means to use the advanced set up not the reccomended one and choose clean install reboot after install and try again,

There is nothing to do. The game is broken, you can report as broken on steam store page and wait konami fix it. I had this issue and now I can only play on linux.

funny comments. thanks guys for taking out time to reply. I've had to run new and updated windows as mine was way too outdated and would get stuck while downloading. I'll reinstall PES 21 and eFootball and report the result tomorrow

Guys I finally sorted it out. I think the windows not being updated was the problem. I reinstalled the latest build, cleaned up nicely and I actually find my computer to be beautiful having added windows 11 theme.

Efootball works smoothly. Thanks for your contributions.

PES 2021 actually looks graphically better, faster when loading and less stuttering when switching from in game to demo
