My player ratings have dropped

All my player ratings have dropped by about 3 or 4 points - so a 101 rated player is now 97, etc.
WTF is going on??

No, I kept it as the Konami Klopp as manager. What happened was the game has reset due to an update like it does - I was in Div 3 but now I'm in Div 6, and for some reason all the player ratings have dropped as mentioned.
I did actually try changing manager & team formation /style to see if it made any difference, but nope.

Some players have boosters that are active only when they're in form. The boost gives them +1 if they have form B and +3 if they have form A. As the season ended in all major leagues, all players have C form, so the POTW boosters aren't active.
