Performance tip for huge fps gains (at least for me)
I just spent a lot of time tweaking my settings, because my field performance was not ideal and replays just terrible.
With changing two settings I went from 100% GPU utilization with 50 fps to 60% utilization with locked 60 fps. The cutscenes and replays also run a lot smother now.

Setting shadows to low gained an ridiculous amount of performance at field view.
Turning off post processing helped a lot in replays and cutscenes and a bit with field action, too.

My rig:
Ryzen 5 5600X
Radeon 5600 XT
16GB RAM

Resolution:
3440x1440 UWQHD

I hope this helps someone, share your experience!

And it seems every time you change a graphics setting you have to reboot the game for it to apply!

That's what I was trying to tell:
You don't have to put every setting on low. Just the two. The others didn't have a noticable impact for me.

The game runs at 60 fps in the background, try opening a window while running a game in the background. I still don't know how to solve it, I just realized this fact here.

I found a solution for my case, I changed the monitor's hertz rate to 59 in the driver and in the operating system and the fps drop in full screen was solved. I saw the comment of a user who did the same but from 175 hertz to 140 hertz.
If you are experiencing fps drops, take this possibility into consideration, in my case it was not a performance issue related to the gpu/cpu but rather some problem with the monitor hertz rate configured in the system/drivergpu, if you are experiencing fps drops frames try windowed mode and if that fixes it probably finding a "monitor hertz rate compatible with the game" will do the trick. Good luck to everyone.

Yes the Shadow is a FPS killer in this game. other settings dont really impact much. the ambient occulsion also takes away fps a bit during cut scenes

I started playing yesterday on my laptop with 1650ti and it runs at 60 fps. On my dekstop with 1070 at 3440x1440 144 hz i got some weird flimmering, hard to explain. Only on field, in the "cutscenes" its alright.

Ill try the tips with shadow etc. to get a few more frames.

Change your monitor setting to 60Hz. I have the same issue. Konami very bad at optimization. :steambored:
