Get rid of this defending system please

It's just dumb. Why does my defender refuse to get close to the enemy? It won't matter how much you increase their stats they are just purely stupid. Sometimes they just go insane and pick up every ball and sometimes they just act like enemies got restraining order on them. Just bring back old one button defending system if you can't replicate fifa's system.

i agreed. they need to improve in switching player as it ignores the closest player to the ball and the reaction of uncontrolled players are stupid. They just stand there and watch the opposition player with ball next to them. That's not reality konami. no idiot standing like that in real life.

The "Fifa system" I terrible anyway. Is just that way so kids can drive the entire defense with Neymar. Football defense should be simple to understand, hard to master. One button for 1 man pressure, 1 button for 2 man pressure. And the attacking side should exploit aggressive pressure by passing the ball and playing football. But hey, that way it wouldn't be so easy to dribble 4 players in a row... like it is in real life.

Well a lot of people including me used secondary press in fifa if you are playing with advanced control anyway. Can't be asked to rely on a random mechanic where i have to ''quick time'' my defense. I just instead blocked passes with 1 guy and used secondary press for defense. Only exceptions are slide tackles and when enemies are coming from right flank or left flank so i can block the cross etc. I'm just amazed that this game gone through the QA team and the whole dev team and they were like : Yep , this is good.

Practice to do what? Press a button which doesn't work on an 88-90 rating player with around same numbers on his defense?

You must consider your players are stupid and you have to control them manually as much as possible
